Adonijah was afraid of Solomon, so he got up and went to take hold of the horns of the altar.

Adoniyah too was afraid because of Shlomo; he got up, went and took hold of the horns of the altar.
Adonijah himself was afraid of what Solomon might do to him, so he ran to the sacred tent and grabbed hold of the corners of the altar for protection.
And Adonijah feared because of Solomon, and arose and went and caught hold of the horns of the altar.
And Adonias fearing Solomon, arose, and went, and took hold on the horn of the altar.
Adonijah was also afraid of Solomon, so he went to the altar and held onto the horns of the altar.
But Adonijah was afraid of what Solomon would do to punish him. So he ran to the holy tent. He took hold of the horns of the altar there.

Adonijah, in great fear of Solomon, went to the Tent of the Lord's presence and took hold of the corners of the altar.

Then Adonijah and his guests jumped up from the banquet table and fled in panic; for they were fearful for their lives. Adonijah rushed into the Tabernacle and caught hold of the horns of the sacred altar.
Panicked, Adonijah’s guests got out of there, scattering every which way. But Adonijah himself, afraid for his life because of Solomon, fled to the sanctuary and grabbed the horns of the Altar.
Adonijah feared Solomon. So he got up and went to the altar and held on to its horns.

Adonijah was afraid of Solomon, so he arose, went, and grasped the horns of the altar.
Even Adonijah was completely terrified of Solomon. He stood up and rushed to the altar seeking sanctuary. He grabbed hold of the horns expecting Solomon to spare his life, as was the custom.
Adonijah was afraid because of Solomon; and he arose, and went, and hung onto the horns of the altar.
And Adonijah dreaded Solomon, and rose up, and went into the tabernacle of the Lord, and he held the horn, or corner, of the altar. (And Adonijah feared Solomon, and he rose up, and went into the Tabernacle, or the Tent, of the Lord, and he held onto the horns, or the corners, of the altar.)
and Adonijah feareth because of Solomon, and riseth, and goeth, and layeth hold on the horns of the altar.
